Nice questionđź‘Ť. Well, both courses are very valuable and contribute to career path. The one to choose should be based on your chosen career path though it is very hard to make a decision. I believe that MBA is more suitable for those who want to go into business or most times, those who don't have the aim of pursuing further degree like pH.d. For CFA, it is for those who are after a career in Investment finance and is mostly taken as a separate professional course. CFA is self-taught while MBA is classroom based.
Looking at the Uniqueness of CFA, that is there are not many people who are CFA certified compared with MBA then I think CFA is more valuable in this regard because it gives that extra advantage to its holders.
Comparing them in terms of cost, CFA is also more expensive than MBA in Nigeria. If you are considering the cost, then MBA is cheaper if it will be done in Nigeria. But MBA is more expensive if it will be done in top business school outside of Nigeria.
Overall, both courses are very important, and you need to understand what you want before taking a decision in which to pursue. You can always pursue both together anyway.
